MUSEUM ETIQUETTE
Taking Pictures
You are welcome to take pictures. Bring your camera, or purchase a disposable in the Gift Shop. Artists, carvers and sculptors are also invited to bring their sketch pads.
Food and Drink
The Oasis Room is a great place to rest while eating your sack lunch; however, no food or drink is allowed elsewhere in the museum. Snacks and beverages are also available for purchase. Inquire at the Visitor Services desk.
Please Don't Feed the Animals
Touching the preserved animals on exhibit is not good for their health. Please don't. But what about the live ones? When a handler is available you will be invited to touch and even hold snakes, geckos and others from the live animal collection. But no feeding allowed. |
