KEEPER CLUB: ANIMAL ADOPTIONS

Are you a fan of Princess the Red Tail Boa Constrictor? Do you love the lions? Or perhaps you know someone who's really foxy? If you have a favorite animal at the museum, we have the club for you: the MMNH Keeper Club! You can choose any animal at the museum (alive or stuffed) and adopt it in your name or give the adoption as a gift (how about the crocodile for someone with a great smile?) Adoptions start at $30, last for one year, and various benefits are associated with each level of adoption.

Adoption fees help cover the cost of caring for the animals at the museum. For our live animals, this includes food, habitat improvements, and staff time to care for them. Our stuffed animals have different needs, including cleaning, and temperature and humidity regulation.

To adopt an animal, pick up an application form at the visitor services desk or click here to download a form. Special options are also available for group adoptions--a wonderful way for your class, club, or business to get involved. Please call 815-895-9777 for details.
