SUNDAY SCIENCE SERIES
The excitement of contemporary science comes to life in this unique educational series for middle-school to adult audiences. On the second Sunday of each month, November through April, prominent scientists discuss current research in scientific disciplines, including archeology, botany, zoology, paleontology, and the biological sciences.

Past speakers from Loyola University, Northern Illinois University, Rockford College, the Illinois Natural History Survey, and the Field Museum have presented programs on Antarctica; Archeology of the Ivory Trade; Cave Biology; Dinosaurs; Paleo-Indians of the Midwest; Neandertals; The Tsavo Lions; Witchcraft, Oracles and Magic in Traditional Belief Systems, and others.
